About a Free Range Developer

This is the blog of a (surprisingly) non-disgruntled front end and back end developer. My name’s James Rakich and I’m behind Spanner, a Planned Maintenance System for ships, and Elephant, a GTD inspired personal productivity system that uses the power of HTML5 to be a fully offline prototype.

I’m invested in finding the best way to deliver a high quality experience using HTML5 Offline Applications, and I’ve got some novel ideas about how to get there using tools such as AngularJS for the front end, and Scala for the back end. Ask about them if you’d like to know more.

In my not so spare time I’m a dad, a husband, and Parkour Instructor in training. These days I find myself lacking work and in search of it, so get in touch if you want to enquire about my services. My portfolio of work can be found at fullandbydesign.com.au. Thanks for stopping by!
